You know, its not so much the racist edge that bugs me so, its the fact he's a stupid fucking tool.

You know, I actually think I DONT like how it went down.

Mostly because it was MEANT to be a political debate - but it turned out to be more like an episode of The Jeremy Kyle show.

I totally disagree with all of his points and thoughts, but he shouldn't have been booed and not allowed to speak.

That, rather then making HIM look like a tool, made US (the audience) look like a tool.

He should have been allowed to answer the questions and PROVE he was a racist twat.. instead when he got flumoxed and couldn't answer the question he was talked over.

Also yes, he was pretty much brought on the show to be beaten on by everyone.

This, again, would have been fine, were it not on a POLITICAL DEBATE SHOW! It was fucking trash TV.

Anyway, thats my two pennies worth.

He is off sailing round Erdreja with his family. And end I am happy with.

What did we learn?

Well, first and foremost, that the friday night of firefly wasn't a fluke.

It seems on Fridays I get so drunk I piss everyone off and cant remember the half of it the next day.

This is actually more worrying then it seems.

I had figured 'Larn drunk' to be a one off, but it seems shanks was just as drunk. So no more drinking on Friday of an event, or, at the very least, no more then 1 bottle of port when people aren't there to get drunk with!

Also, whats with drunk Shanks being incredibly gay?! Seriously!! Its really concerning ;)

All that aside, the event passed well.

Some of the highlights that spring to mind.

1. Goodbye Erdreja: What a top tune. Sitting in the tent with a load of people we didnt know as well as we knew each other - it wasn't BAD, but just not the way I wanted to say goodbye.

So we got the hardcore friends together, grabbed the guitar, grabbed the drums, and rocked into the night.

We sang goodbye to our friends, and awesomely Wakeen came with us. We sang, it was amazing and sad in its way...

But then the song got more heavy and crazy when Bo started to do the last rite... very cool... and then to an explosion or two..and the heads of the transportation circle getting knocked over by the sheer power of what was going on, we vanished, and the music left Erdreja for one last time.

V sad, but at the same time, SUPER keen about the new group. Black Pantha all the way baby.

2. Sheev died. Bit sucky, but she was reckless and wanted to die - so we're all 'pleased'? for her.

Hmmm. Its bad that I cant think of any of the other numerours cool things that happened right now, so I'm off to bed, and I'll update more tomorrow. Promise ;)

We fished and cooked and ate and made merry.

We did Cyberpunk (Dimitri is a bit more chilled and less prone to acts of random violence/stupidity when Stuart isn't drunk) and we drank and laughed.

Was great to see everyone, and the place we stayed was SUPER cool! So we have to do it again!

We also had a seriously good breakfast. All good as far as birthday fun goes :)

New years was great. Seeing and staying with G&L is always great. Having bad news sucked. Missing the girl who dumped you ages ago sucks. Being back at work sucked at first - now isn't so bad. Christmas was ok. Presents were good. Wow is annoying, but good.
